Hamilton Age Friendly City
I recently joined this group of individuals from various city organizations who are working to bring great programming and issues of concerns for older adults to the attention of the City and find resources and grants to fund these needs. It is this type of creative thinking that brings forth great ideas and I am very excited about the possibilities!
Dundas Active 55+ Steering Committee
I have been a member of this committee for 2 years and very involved in the Dundas InfoSpot Project. This is an innovative way to bring information about programs, services & events of interest to those 55 and over in the Dundas area. We have just created a video to promote InfoSpot and hope to expand the program across the greater community of Hamilton and beyond!
I am very passionate about older adults using technology safely - that's why I volunteer my time at the various senior centers to educate folks about using the internet and computers. I also believe in giving back, and that is why I donate much of my time to these worthwhile projects...
